Bediya royeyn kabhi paon ke chale roye
kaise qaidi thay jinhe qaid ke taale roye
jab suna maara gaya pani pilane wala
kaampte haton may sukhe hue pyale roye
jane kya sochke shabbir bahot dayr talak
karke baysheer ko turbat ke hawale roye
bhoolne walay tujhe kaise bataye koi
kis khadar tujhko tere chahne walay roye
bekasi baap ko le aayi hai kis manzil par
barchi bete ke kaleje se nikale roye
haye afsos ke jis waqt jale thay qaime
dayr tak shame ghariban ko ujale roye
pyase jismo may ye paywast hue jab bhi kabhi
dekh kar sookhi ragay barchiya bhaalay roye
bhai ki laash hai aur shor yateemo ka
nazeer ek behan aise may bachon sambhale roye

Hashim Sisters in Karbala (Arbaeen 2014, 1436)

Hashim Sisters in Karbala (Arbaeen 2014, 1436)
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw
The distance between my being and heavens door
Am I worthy to stand here I asked?
And then I felt Their breeze as it passed
I felt that my Master (as) could hear my cries
I felt that Fatima (sa) stood there by my side
As She looked at the visitors, she placed Her handkerchief
Gathered their tears, promising them no grief
On this day I renounce my sacred promise
The one I had made in His Holy Presence
When all of the souls gathered around
Labbayka Ya Hussain (as) was the only sound

Ibn al-Qayyim Quotes

Ibn al-Qayyim Quotes
"From 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (Radiallahu 'anhu) who said that the Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
"No one will enter Paradise who has an atom's weight of pride in his heart."
A man said, "What if a man likes his clothes to look good and his shoes to look good?"
He said, "Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. Pride means denying the truth and looking down on people." [Sahih Muslim]
The phrase "Allah is beautiful and loves beauty," includes the beautiful clothing which was asked about in the same hadith.
It is included by way of generalization, meaning that beauty in all things is what is meant here.
In Sahih Muslim, it says: "Allah is good and only accepts that which is good." [Sahih Muslim]"
[Imam Ibn al Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah RahimahuAllah]

الصبرُ صبران: صبرٌ على ما تَكرَه، وصبرٌ عمّا تُحِب

Imam Ali, peace be upon him, said: Patience is of two kinds, patience over what pains you, and patience against what you covet
